Thank you. many years ago I has cysts. thank you for the information.
Hi
I you don't notice anything abnormal like a breast lump, skin changes or nipple discharge, etc,the pain in one or both breasts could be due to many benign causes and it's rarely associated with breast cancer.Breast infection, injury to a muscle, tight clothing, hormone replacement therapy, could cause similar pain.
You could take some over the counter pain relief medications and see how it goes for a few more days..Avoiding foods and beverages containing caffeine, such as coffee, tea, chocolate and soft drinks, can decrease water retention and may help to alleviate the discomfort
If the pain still persists,I think it would be best to see your doctor for a detailed clinical examination.to make sure that there isn't an underlying problem that is causing the discomfort.Occasionally, non-cyclical pain may be caused by a" fibroadenoma" or a"cysts".(Both benign findings)but it's necessary to proceed with some type of testing to make sure of that.
If you have no insurance, try calling your local hospital. A social worker will let you know about the availability of free or low-cost cancer screening in your community.
You could also call "Susan G. Komen for the Cure"They provide information on free or low-cost mammograms.
Best wishes..
