Unfamiliar feeling in breast

I was preforming a breast self examination and noticed a flat area. It wasn't necessarily round but I could move it. I am scheduled to start my period next week. I have never done one before because I thought that it wasn't important at my age. I am 21 years old.

Hi,
Because you are so young,I doubt that this lump is related to breast cancer. Most likely, since it's movable,I would think it could be a cyst or a fibroadenoma ( both benign lumps) which is quite common in your age group. You must never ignore any abnormality in the breasts,so please take my advice and go see your doctor who might order an Ultrasound. This is a painless procedure that will provide an answer as to the nature of this lump.
Al the best....and please see your doctor okay?
