breast biopsy site not healing
I had a needle biopsy done last june 23rd....The site is still not healed and its been a month....The site is dark red and a little painful. and there is a red ring around the outside of the site
Oh... and, after it healed, I gently rubbed Vitamin E oil on the puncture site, every evening, to minimize hardening due to scar tissue buildup.
Unfortunately, the healing process is rather slow... it took slightly more than 2 months for me to fully recover from my stereotactic (needle) biopsy. Lots of bruising... lots of swelling... lots of sensitivity. I used ice packs on the puncture site and took extra strength Tylenol for overall discomfort.
