Could it be Breast Cancer???

I had Breast Cancer 11 years ago right breast. Had a lumpectomy and radiation. For the passed two years have been on a 6 mo. watch with mammograms for microcalcifications three with no changes. Now a breast MRI done yesterday and found 2 nodules also diagnosed as fluid filled. Very concerned and are biopsies usually done to determine breast cancer in these cases??

You should have a biopsy to be absolutely sure so you don't have watch and wonder what they are.  They could be cysts, but I would think it would be very important to determine what the fluid is inside them.  Did they do a breast ultrasound to look more closely or a needle biopsy?  After my cancer I did have a cyst which was needle drained and the fluid sent for results which were negative.  I would say better to do it and know for sure.

Not as a rule if the lesions are proven to be fluid filled. If a biopsy were necessary it would certainly have been recommended by the Radiologist in the report on your MRI. Your 6 mo. check ups seems very reasonable under the circumstances.   Regards ...
