Thank you again for all the info and hope you have given me in the last few days. Well I called the Doctor on Wed. Sept.5th and the nurse was just trying to make an appointment for me with a surgeon, she told me that they definitely found something she didn't go into a lot of details just she would call me back after she made the appt., she wouldn't let me do it cuz they can get you in faster. She called me later and my appt., with the next Doctor is Wed., Sept., 12th. That's fast for around here. I had an appt., conflict so I called to change another dr., appt. I had 1/2 an hour before the one with the surgeon. Now my Wednesday the 12th of Sept. entails getting all info on my infiltrated fatty liver from probably the meds I take to help with my Lupus and Fibromyalgia and stuff that comes with that, as well as see the Surgeon in regards to a biopsy date. She is supposed to be the Doctor they always use for biopsies and what ever else is needed for breast cancer surgeries. Sorry I rambled on for so long it seems to be something I have been doing lately, and of course my husband is still up taking care of 90 year old Mother so he knows nothing of what is happening here. I don't want him to worry and or come home early nobody knows how long she will around, hopefully a long time. I will keep you posted on Wednesday if you don't mind. I want to say THANK YOU for all that you have and are doing for me it really does help.

Hi again and you welcome.
I understand your concern because you have a strong family history of breast cancer and the risk associated with this disease. The important thing is that you have had regular Mammograms/Ultrasounds to help your doctor detect and treat early,if any serious abnormality might develop.
Keep in mind that risk factors don't tell us everything.Having a risk factor, or even several, does not mean that you will get the disease. Most women who have one or more breast cancer risk factors never develop the disease, while many women with breast cancer have no apparent risk factors other than being a woman and growing older.
I am glad to know that you have lived longer than anyone else in your family and I hope that you will continue to enjoy good health for a very long time to come.
All the best to you!...

Thank you very much it does make me feel more at ease. I'm 59 and have lived longer than anyone in my family. This is the first time a mamo has ever made me nervous, but like I said my mom died at 56 from bone cancer from breast. it was to far gone by the time anyone found it. She also had a breast reduction done prior to all this happening, now my Doctor wants me to have a reduction done if all show ok this time.
Again thank you for the infor and I'll keep you informed.

I would like to add that usually if a density is a fluid-filled cyst, the ultrasound waves will go through it and a black "hole" or spot will appear on the ultrasound image.Cysts are almost always benign lumps.
If it's a solid mass, the waves will echo off, and it will appear as a white spot.
I hope that this added information will help understanding what a "black spot" seen on Ultrasound may represent.

Hi,
Your description on the Ultrasound findings is unfortunately too vague, and it's impossible to comment in a meaningful way. This could be anything,a cyst, a fibroadenoma ( both benign ) or something more serious.
Your radiologist or your doctor will let you know if more investigation is needed.
Please let us know what has been recommended by your doctor and hopefully we can be more helpful.
I really hope it's nothing too serious and that  everything will turn out fine.
Best wishes...
