Femara stop after 5 years

Hi!  I had lumpectomy 5 yrs. ago followed by radiation therapy.  After 5 yrs of Tamoxifen my Onc. prescribed me Femara and now she stopped me from taking that medication without checking if I am still ER positive or not.  Is it advisable for me to ask her to check if I am still ER positive?

The drugs are prescribed when the CANCER is determined to be ER positive. This would never change despite the use of any of the drugs.  You might ask your Oncologist why she has discontinued your Femara. The hormone levels in your body could be checked and you might also ask about that.    Regards .....
