I had to share this and I hope you don't mind.
When I went through my treatments last year, I lost 100% of my hair. Prior to cancer I had long, red (thanks to Ms Clairol), curly hair down to my waist. My hair is now very short and pure white. During chemo I went au-natural, bald as a babies butt and it didn't bother me, or my boss or co-workers. My co-worker's young son had seen me before, during and finally after treatment. Her 9 yr old son Seth came to work with her last week and he kept staring at me. Finally he came up to me and he said, "Ms. Sue, is that a wig?" I said "no, it's not a wig, does it make me look old?" He nodded his head yes. I asked "do you remember when I was bald?" and he again nodded yes, and then he said to me..." I thought it would come back red" to which I replied "I was hoping so too!" Kids really do say the darndest things!
