Numbness in breast after biopsy

After a biopsy of my right breast 4 weeks ago I'm still in feel pain and a portion of my breast is numb.  could the numbness be a side effect of the anesthetic.

i had pain and numbness  for a long while after my biopsy.  i would say it is completely normal, but of you have doubt, contact your doctor.  i hope your biopsy came negative.
