Hi,
Lumps are often caused by fibrocystic changes which can occur in one
or both breasts. These changes occur in many women, especially during the reproductive years..
What you have could be a fibroadenoma,or possibly a cyst or an infection, both of which could feel tender and present as a lump..Usually breast cancer is not associated with pain.
As long as you don't have a fever and the skin around it is not warm and red, I would give it another few days, but if it doesn't start to shrink soon,I would advise you to see your doctor for a clinical breast exam to find out what it is and to make sure that it's nothing serious.
Best wishes...
Thank you so much for replying. I really hope this is nothing. I'm so so scared though we don't have any family history of breast cancer. I will give it a few days but still I'm going to have a doctor check it to be sure. Thank you.
