No it isn't cancer .... but when these tumors are removed they need to be Completely removed and this is why the additional surgery to obtain clean margins. These tumors are not always removed but since you were experiencing pain I'm sure it was a wise decision. When only one tumor is found it is less likely to recur but that is always a possibility. It is true that Phyllodes can be either benign or malignant but you state yours is benign which certainly is a good thing. Regards .....
