breast pain

I've got a slightly pain on left breast and armpit, the breast pain is about a year now and i went to see my Dr and he did not find any lumps or signs of breast cancer but I am really concerned about this. This year I am 38 years but there is no history of breast cancer in my family, are there any chances of having a breast cancer

Hi,
There are many things that could cause breast pain. One of the most common is usually related to hormonal fluctuation, but could also be related to other conditions such as ulcer, flatulence, muscle injury, pinched nerve, angina or costochondritis which is an inflammation of the connective tissues between the rib and the breastbone.
I would advise you to consult a Breast Specialist for a clinical breast examination including a mammography or ultrasound to help determine whether the pain is related or not to a breast condition.
If no breast abnormality is found,,then you should ask your doctor to investigate the other possibilities I mentioned above.
Best wishes.
