burning sensation in left breast

For the past couple of days I have been experiencing a painful burning sensation in my left breast.  I had a negative mammogram in October and have been doing self exams every time I wash my hair - finding nothing abnormal.

I had a complete hysterectomy in February 1990, and took HRT (Premarin) for a few years, until my mom died of endometrial cancer.

I have severe scoliosis (78/84 curves), and have had three surgeries.  I have rods from my neck to my tailbone.  I take Demerol with Phenergan periodically (when the pain becomes unbearable), and Enalapril/HCTZ.  I've been taking a multivitamin, fish oil caps, vitamins A & D, and 2 baby aspirin daily, along with my BP meds (also Bontril x 2 weeks).  For the past couple of nights, I have also taken SleepFast - which is, oddly, when the pain began.

I worry about cancer because all of my aunts and uncles on both sides, plus my mom and my dad, have died of various types of cancer - none breast that I know of.

Could this be normal because of my hysterectomy . . . or possibly because of the SleepFast? Is there anything that I can do at home to ease the pain (I'm severely allergic to Acetaminophen)?

Thanks SO much!!  I was starting to get a little worried.  Last night I actually dreamed about telling my family, "Good-bye". . .I had been reading past comments (not sure if it was this sight) about a rare, very aggressive, very resistant breast cancer that has no lumps but is in a sheet, and causes a burning sensation in one or both breasts.  I was starting to think that all of the vitamins, low fat foods, broccoli, apples, etc. was for naught.  Thanks for allaying my fears!!

Also, thanks for the idea to take away the pain.  I was trying cold compresses, but it wasn't helping.  I'll try heat.  THANKS AGAIN, & GOD BLESS!!
