I am so blessed to have gotten a benign result this afternoon. I had a mri assisted biopsy on monday and the attending dr called me this afternoon and sd it was benign.!!!  He sd he is still concerned because the 2 spots only show on MRI with contrasting, but he left the 2 markers in to make sure on any growth.  Maybe one of the dr;s on this site can answer why that is a concern.
But anyway, I am grateful all went well for me this time.  Good luck to all of those that are still waiting for results or going through cancer itself.

Congratulations on your benign results !!! The markers are for future reference ... they will be noted on future mammograms, etc. Changes always can occur over time with any finding within the breast and be better monitored with the markers in place. Once again I'm so happy to hear your good news.   Regards ...

Im so happy that you got benign results. I will get mine results next wed. when I see the BS for my post-op visit. Im hoping they call me before then with the results.
