PLEASE READ~THANK YOU!

Hi! I have was dx with a benign breast tumor a couple of years ago. About a year ago it came back, but didn't cause any pain. I ignored it. I also have a sore on my scalp that will not heal...tried everything! For the last six months, I have been "going down hill" so to speak. It is all I can do to make it through the day.  I have no energy! I am completely exhausted. I stay cold all. the. time. Discomfort started out with my lower back and legs along with aching. I wondered if it was just a virus or something like that, but I am not sure.  The last month I started experencing night sweats...to the extreme. I would wake up freezing and drenched. Yesterday I experenced a DEEP pain in between my shoulder and elbow on my left arm...while pulling tugging on my jeans.  I have also noticed my left rib at the bottom sticks out a lot more than my right side. I called and set up an apointment, but it is a month away. Just wondering if you have any advice between now and then. Thank you so much!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RESPONDING! No, I didn't get the tumor checked out, because it came back in the same place.  That tumor was benign, so I assumed this was too.  However, with my other symptoms, minus the sore, I am concerned. I am on a cancellation list.  I really appreciate your responds...means a lot to know someone cares! Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

Hi,
You don't say if the painless tumor you discovered a year ago was thoroughly checked out and diagnosed a benign tumor like the one you had 2 years ago? I hope you did, because a breast lump should never be ignored whether it's painful or not.
As for your other health problems,it's hard to even guess over the Internet if your symptoms are related in any way to the breast lump....Only your doctor can determine what's going on after a complete medical exam, including a Mammogram/ Ultrasound and other tests he/she may recommend.
If you are very worried about your situation, you could call your Doctor's office and ask if they have a list of people they’ll call if there’s a cancellation. If there’s no such list, you can check in with the office periodically yourself,to see if  you can see the doctor sooner.
Best wishes...
