Each word has it's own definition; this is why I suggested that you ask your Physician who has access to your films and the reports that accompany them. This is information that we here on the internet do not have. You can also "search" each word for their definitions. Cysts can contain both fluid and solid material. This terminology is used by Radiologists to describe what they see on film and are not a diagnosis. The biopsy is what will supply the diagnosis of the findings that were seen on film. Regards ....
what does divided by fences mean? could it be a cyst with a fibroadoema in it ? All these describing words have me real concerned . I will call my dr but it is Sunday and I am just trying to understand. lobulated, septated, hypoechoic what do they all mean together. I don't mean to be a bother . I am just extremely anxious.
I believe if you will refer to your previous post I defined "hypoechoic"; septated means that the lesion seems to be divided by "fences". I once again advise you to speak with your Physician for an explanation of all these terms in relation to your particular film findings. Regards ....
