We care dear, and we know exactly how you feel. Its frustrating.
Keep doing what its possible for you to do and good luck to you and all the poor fellows all around.
Your acts and example are important as well - not only for the cats, for the people around you.
If you met the ones that doesnt care , try to ignore them - its not worth care for this kind of people...
Hugs!
I'd like to try and catch them and find them homes.
They are good cats.
It makes me sad that people think their livesdo not matter. :(
The animal control will put out cages but they are kill shelters!
Thank you for replying to me. :(
Nobody seems to care as much as I do, I feel alone. :'(
Well, sweetheart, you tried. I was not asking you to give your address, just a general location, for the purposes of looking up Humane resources in your city. But of course if you live in a small place, I can see that you might feel like this would be too close to home. When you talk to the animal-control people, they might be able to give you names of other resources.
Good luck with your plans, it is possible that the wounded kitty will find a way herself, or even that another person took the cat in.
I called the local animal control but they couldn't find the kitty. :(
I've searched all over and can't find her either.
I looked up feral cat locations and the closest is 5 hrs away.
I'm srry I'm too scared to give my address on the Internet. :/
I will take care of the cats as I can someday I want to open my own shelter.
If you would say where you are located, any one of us would be glad to do an Internet search and see if there are any cat charities that are in your area.
ps -- Whatever happens, see if there is a Feral Cat Society in your area, where you could volunteer. They do feeding stations and spay/neuter and release, and it's a great group to be involved with if you care about cats.
I'm so sorry you're in this position. Call Animal Control, and really rattle their cage bars to get some action. If that does not help, see if you can find a Feral Cat charity (there is a Feral Cat Coalition in our town) and ask for their help.
The only solution is to call animal control, that doesn't cost any money. That is the right thing to do. You are right, this cat doesn't deserve to suffer. Please, do the right thing and make the call.
