"somebody" in your apt needs to be alot more careful!! Your pet could get poisoned and you'd have no way of knowing with what! Vicodin normally has Tylenol in it which (correct me if I'm wrong someone) is toxic to cats. I think a cat would be more likely to smack a pill around like a toy but these pills could be a choking hazard as well as a poison issue. Please tell your room mate to be MUCH more careful!
Im not sure abt mine either, but how will I know if they did or not by behavior change or anything side effects I should be cautious in case if they did or not? Even thro they all seems fine so I guess they didnt but just in case I will need know the side effects or else.. Thanks
given the weight of the cat and the strength of these meds...I would be pretty sure one tablet would fatally poison or do unrepairable damage to kittys organs.........care needs to be taken.
I never thought my cat would eat a pill just from the taste alone, but thank you for pointing out it could get stuck on her tongue. I never thought of that!
I don't know what to suggest as far as the person dropping their meds. That combo of pills will make a person screwed up and they likely don't realize they're dropping them. All I can suggest to you is be vigilant and scan the carpet often.
Cats may eat just about anything by accident. I know my silly Dillan acts like a little vaccum all around the house. My other cat is more cautious. So it really depends on the animal, I think. I would talk to that person and tell them to stop dropping pills on the floor or carpet. For your cat's safety. And.....It's gross...
