Dandruff ?

well its raining here today and Tweety went out in it she doesnt like the rain but its better than staying in ...She came in wet and I ot a towel to dry her, I noticed many white bits on her fur, got the wire brush and brushed her, it looks like dandruff do, cats get that ,its not flea eggs as when I looked through the magnifying glass you can se its like of flaky bits.. What can I do about it, are there dandruff shampoos .She's not been bathed as she hates water .Any ideas .thanks guys

You can even get Bach's Rescue Remedy at the better small independently owned pet boutiques.  You might even find it in a regular health supplement store.  Some of them have a small section of pet supplements.

wow that sounds good can I get it at the petsmart or petsco ? or is it prescription ..I will take a look at the link ..thank you so much guys..It is a worry am not certain I want to drive 8 hours or more with Tweety   ..but the dh says I have to as hes driving another vehicle ...

hey Margy....I mentioned Rescue Remedy for Pets this helps keep them calm in stressful situations such as Vet trips and car rides...much safer than tranquilizers...good luck girl-)

well thats a long story Jade you will chuck me off ...maybe 30th April if the buyer gets a move on otherwise Mend of May ...about 8 hours drive Tweety and I in an SUV I thought about her getting car sick so you are right Jade I may ask the Vet for something ,she could sleep through it then ..

When will you be leaving, Margy?  How does Tweety do in the car normally?  I was thinking with such a long trip, you may want to be armed with some sort of tranquilizer for her from your vet for 'just in case'.  Also, some animals tend to get car sick.

well I am having a good laugh..i dont think its dandruff I think its bread .....lol I took another look and I remembered throwing bread for the birds before it rained .I think she rolled in the bread ...lol heheh the rain has washed her coat and no more 'dandruff'
