Dominance over the chair

i have a 2 year old 18lb kitty i call Chaos. I may have done this to myself and he is simply living up to his name lol. Anyways he has always been my baby and all my cats are very spolied however anytime one of the other 3 cats gets in this one chair Chaos jumps on top of them and bites and literally sits on them until they move. Then he is as content as he can be, lays down and grooms. I dont like interferring with any of the cats when they are having little tiffs however it is bothersome when Chaos hurts the other cats and i just want to make sure that this behavior isnt a warning sign of something worse that may develop. Should i intervene or let them work things out on their own? If intervention is needed how would someone recommend i proceed? Please keeping in mind that Chaos is like one of my children and sometimes loved even more since he never yells or disrespects me...lol but seriously its the truth.

Chaos is showing that he is 'top cat' and they are to respect him as such.  Has he sprayed on that chair before, even in the past?  I would turn over the seat pillow or cover it with plastic.  Also you can change habits by spraying water on him each time he acts out badly or put a balloon on the chair and his claws might pop it.  He will remember.  Good Luck.  Jeanne, cat lover.

Top Cat he is! lol  although he is neutered he has never sprayed the chair or thank goodness anything else for that matter. Jeanne, thank you for your suggestions it is much appreciated. As far as the spraying of water we know this wont work since he jumps in our swimming pool, but the balloon just may work. if you have any other suggestions please feel free to let me know.
