Eye dilation

Last night my cat was fine when we retired for the night. When we woke, her left eye was dilated and her right eye seemed ok. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, but is not eating as usual and is sleeping a lot today. What could have caused this to happen?

Hi, I found a good website w/ some helpful info.  It also tells you symptoms to watch out for.

Hope this helps!

Sometimes it is an indication of having been struck on the head.  Call her vet if it does not resolve and she still seems unusual in her response.
