What has happened at your home during the holidays with your Pets?

my kitties have always enjoyed the boxes especially.. a beautiful Ragdoll kitty I once loved used to go bonkers over ribbons and bows...she loved the rustling sound they would make. she used to steal them off all the gifts under the tree and play with them until she lost one than she would steal herself another. I saved all the bows and kept them as toys for her throughout the year, when I would move a sofa to clean underneath I would find tons of bows. I still think of Tia whenever I see a present with a bright shiny bow on it:))

I was WISHING kids could have fun with the tree - it had been prepared to be safe for then...But cats just enjoy doing things the hard way ;-)

I had a fancy tree topper that fascinated my young kitty. She climbed the entire tree to reach it & knocked the tree over. Surprised look: Priceless!
  One year at a friends, the roast was resting on cutting board. Yellow Lab jumped up & stole the entire roast. It wasn't hosts dog& the people who owned the dog thought so funny. The rest of us,ahh,not funny. Same dog did
same thing at someone else's holiday party following year, with a Ham. We were not there. Then we thought it was funny. Pamela

Two years ago, it was hard to keep the kitten out of the tree, but by now he is an old hand.  We just don't hang ornaments on the lowest branches.

They dont care too much about noise - 2 of them were born in november so they are had their first Holidays very young and together with her mother and me, in a safe place.
If the fireworks are very near and can be seen by the window , this bother them a little.
I was not very fond of Eve parties and now Christmas become boring as well so we spend our holidays together, in peace
This year I bought a Santa's hat to Loreena - she looks lovely using that, I have to pic and post here.Last year they had a Christmas tree but was no so sucessful- I was prepared for them destroying that but they didnt...
PS. My babies are all cats
