Liver Troubles?

Hi,
We have an 8yr old Oriental Shorthair who has fur loss issues. She seems to be cleaning and pulling at those areas frequently. Her most recent Blood Panel shows very high ALT (187) levels as well as high RBC, HGB, and HCT levels.
After doing some research, I am believing these to be signs of possible Liver disorder. Her Basophil (wbc?) levels are very low which seems also to be related to the liver and how it resists attack. Meanwhile she is eating and drinking and using her box. Should we be racing to the ER ? There is similar information regarding Anemia and symptoms but they seem to be inconsistent with my findings. Thanks for any input or opinion.

Heh heh...let us know how everything comes out. (Ugh...yes, I went there).

Thanks,
We did schedule a visit with a specialist for tomorrow. We are taking both cats for blood work at that same time. Tonight we are collecting samples, weeee!
I'll post some results or the specialists thoughts after we know more.

I don't know about an ER visit, but I'd consider scheduling a visit to the animal hospital (not a regular vet, they'd just have to refer you, likely).

The problem is those tests just indicate a liver related issue, but they don't state specifically what the CAUSE is. For example, it could be a small tumour inhibiting proper liver function...but the liver is actually healthy and well.

So...yes, a medical visit is caused for to find out the source of the problem.
