Hello Cheryl16969CAT,

Please NEVER give your fur baby medicine you take yourself in other words human medicine.  Your kitty needs to be seen by your vet and your vet needs to examine your fur baby and prescribe some medicine . Do you mean Erythromocin which is an antibiotic that humans take . Anyway, do not give your kitty this medicine in any amount . Make an appointment with your vet and have your vet examine your kitty and prescribe an animal medication. I see you posted this awhile ago.  How is your kitty doing ? Eve

Hi Cheryl,

Did you get your kitty to the vets and what was the outcome. We worry also. Please keep us updated, K?

I agree 100% with CML.  You can't make a diagnosis and get the medication right.

How do you know if Azithromycin is safe for a cat?  Why play guessing games?  Take the cat to the vet for the correct diagnosis.

NO!  Take your cat to a vet for treatment. Meds should NEVER be given without a prescription from the vet if they are needed. Very dangerous to start playing around with unauthorized meds.
