Azodyl is a supplement to help reduce the side effects of CRF....renal failure kitties...

Evewisewoman is right Homeboy...2-3 days is a long time to leave a cat on its own, with or without medical problems..

Its probably not a huge deal to skip a day of Azodyl now and than, but since its helping the kidneys remove toxins, there would be an accumulative build up(of the toxins) and your kitty would suffer the consequences.

A kitty in kidney failure should be checked on at least once a day...plus this kitty really would benefit from a canned diet and not being left on its own with a bowl of kibble, kibble is very hard on the kidneys...b/c of its lack of moisture...12% vs 78% with canned, no cat will ever drink enough water to compensate for this...cats by nature don't drink enough as it is.

best to you all♥

Hello there,

What is kind of medication is Azodyl ? Do you get it from your vet ?
Why do you give this medication to your cat ? You say you cannot tell she is sick. What condition does she have that she needs this medication.
Two to three days is a lot for a cat to be alone by herself. I hope you have someone coming in to check on her, give her fresh water and food, especially fresh water and of course , food.
