sounds like you did the right thing and it is probably just a bit more time before fully healed and the cat will also help clean it up naturally. Probably got hung up on something really good and kitty had to pull free. I agree with others and would not cut this toenail until it is fully recovered.
Jessie, keep doing the best you can and investigate whether or not there is an affordable vet in your home area.
Hopefully your home care will be enough.
Thanks a bunch guys I put some ointment on his claw and covered it I did this for 2 days its looking way better and it seems like he is not in pain anymore but the skin on top of the claw is still looks a little inflamed I think the claw got detached a bit from the skin. Its not bleeding anymore well at least I havent seen him licking it or dry blood so I think is getting better At this time I can not afford a vet. But if I do see it gets worst or if I see a different color on the claw and if the inflamation does not go down Im going to have to do something else or end up trying to get money somehow to taking him to a vet.
Once again thanks
Jessie

Hi Jessie,
I would take your kitty to your vet to have your vet examine his paw.
Do not put peroxide on his sore nail. Cats lick their paws and you don't want your kitty ingesting/eating peroxide. I wouldn't clip down the nail yourself.
If you touch his paws/nail and he meows in a sad way, he is probably in pain.
Please take your kitty to your vet and have a professional look at it.
Good luck to you and kitty . Eve ( mother of Sammy the cat )
