my male cat got a bleeding patch in the middle of his neck

my male white and ginger 1 years old cat has a bleeding pathc on the middle of his neck and i throught its getting better but now its going worse and i dont have anoth money to take hikm to the vets the patch is red and has stopped bleeding plus he got a broken nail i think he might of scatch his neck to hard im not sure do plz help me

You might also comb your kitty with a super-fine-toothed comb and be sure there are no other hidden patches.  I'm glad you're taking the cat in tomorrow.

hello thank you for the comment tommrow im ganna take my cat to the vets to get him check but  for now in helping him by dapping warm water on a cloth  and wipeing the blood for the patch slowely but tommrow im ganna get him checkd thank you .

I'm sorry for poor kitty's injury. this wound may well be infected and would need antibiotics if it soon doesn't heal, I know how expensive Vets can be however if you value your kitty you will find away to take him for proper care, many Vet clinics will accept monthly payments to cover a bill...antibiotics are very inexpensive together with an examination shouldn't cost more than $50.

I will send you a link on how to care for wounds and you can TRY that first...but if it doesn't give improvement within a day please take him to a clinic..

the link suggests hot compresses....and a solution of espsom salt and hydrogen peroxide. BEWARE....that the compress NOT be too hot as this will burn your kitty..best to use WARM not hot...ok.
hydrogen peroxide will also cause some damage to the good cells so use sparingly...
