Seatbelts

How many of us seatbelt the carrier into the seat when the kitty goes with us?  The crew went to the vet today and as I was putting the seatbelt around the carrier, I wondered how many people did that or if I was a bit eccentric.  :)

I always have to use a taxi.  First, they never give me enough time to strap in the carrier, even if I wanted to.  I usually place the carrier on the floor board, because it's also more secluded for the kitty, who is really nervous in the first place.

no I have never done that...would of course be a very good practice to follow though.

I would use the floorboard myself, except I have a small Toyota with no room between front and back seats to accommodate the carrier.  As long as they are safe, Pip, that's what counts. :-)

We don't, but the carriers go on the rear floorboards and are thereby braced against the back of the front seat.

Most definitely we put the seatbelt around Jade's carrier.  I think that's just being safe...for everyone.  If an accident should happen, carrier would go flying.  Kitty might stay safe, but that thing could give you a concussion should it hit you in the head!  Idk, maybe we are eccentric too? LOL

How did the 'crew' make out at the vet?
