HISSIE AND ME NEED HELP FAST

Some of you all know me and Hissie on here. I haven't been on here in awhile. So sorry. Just have been busy with too many things. Anyway, Hissie pulled through the last bad episode of constipation. Didn't think she would. And we just had a good 2 month run with Hiss. Big appetite and no constipation problems. Then, that changed last week. Just went to the vet and bought a $30 enema. Me and my daughter gave it to her several hours ago. So far, some seepage, but no bowel movement. She is straining and trying to go. We are out of options. Cannot afford to take her to the vet anymore. Already spent several thousand on her. And it is not the money that is an issue. I would gladly spend the money on her. We just do not have it. Can't afford another $30 enema. Several days ago, I tried a soap and water enema on Hiss. Anti-bacterial soap. Nothing. Anyone with any other suggestions, please help me. Hissie gained all her weight back and just simply looks so much better. But, if I cannot get her to have a bowel movement, we are in real trouble here. And all that know me, knows I am trying to avoid putting her down. Somehow, though I knew it was going to eventually come back to this again. I am just at a total loss at this point.  Thank you all so much...again and again. ♥♥♥

Nope. Didn't work...ugh.........ok. There is a product out there called lax-eze. I would google 'lax-eze testimonials from cat owners' and read all about it, see what you think. I'm not sure how much this can help, but it's an alternative :(

Hi Lynn

Take a look at this link see if you can afford this remedy. Look at the testimonies and see if you can relate to anyone. I think you can!

Is she on a wet food diet? Try to avoid dry foods as much as you can. See if the vet can recommend vitamins. I know some vitamins can help!

Hi, sorry to hear about hissie's troubles. could you give me a heads up on what tests you had done already?

The problem with blockages is once there, they need to be removed.  I've suggested to some that they switch to a liquid diet if they notice hard stools happening. Usually I suggest one of the powdered kitten milk replacers. A side effect of them is they sometimes cause diarrhea {use more water than recommended when mixing the food for this effect).

You can try using some vaseline around/ in the rectum area if that's the "point of problem".
