Azithromycin 250 mg for humans

My cat has a hole in his leg, I cleaned it up but was told he might need a antibiotic. My doctor gave me azithromycin 5 daily dose. I was wondering if I can use it on my cat? I can't take him to a vet, so I'm trying to handle this at home.

If your cat has a hole in his leg, he NEEDS veterinary attention.  Call your local humane society or SPCA, they offer medical care at discounted prices if you can prove there's a financial need.

Do not ever give any human medicine to your cat.  You have no idea if it's safe or not and have no idea how much to give him.
