Unsure about Kitty Leukemia

My baby, Georgiana, is about a year and a half old. We were just told that she has leukemia, a sore throat, constipation, she has lost a lot of weight and there is a hairball problem. I know that the weight loss has to do with the leukemia. The vet gave her a steroid shot to help her want to eat, we give her 1cc of antibiotics twice a day, and he also told me to put petroleum jelly on her nose to help her go. I have been giving her wet food because of her sore throat and the fact that she usually always has to go to her litter box afterwards. She still hasn't gone very much at all. What I need to know is what I should and shouldn't be feeding her, and if there is anything more I can do for her? She is still in the early stages, and I would like to be able to help her as much as I can. She is my first kitty and I want to keep her because she is my baby.

I forgot before, but now that I am thinking about it it would be wonderful to have some people to talk to that are or have gone through the leukemia. What was the support board  called and where is it? I t would be really wonderful.

I'm going to give you this link here for a full description of the disease (it's better than I can sum up).

If you'd like, I believe there's a link I have somewhere for a feline Leuk. Support board. Let me know and i'll hunt it up and give it to you,
