Cat ate Insulation

My 15 1/2 year old cat just ate fiberglass insulation.  She pulled it out from inside the stair steps and ate it before I could get it out of her mouth.  What do I do now?

Good...that crossed my mind too.  I hope that's what happens.  I think I would check with a local Vet just to be sure and for awhile I would check for any blood in  her stool, just to be on the safe side.  Good Luck and keep us posted.

She does not appear to be sick and is eating food as normal.  Looking up on the internet it says that it just passes through in the stools.  Apparently, all animals will eat insulation dogs, rats, mice, cats, etc.

Thanks.

Don't panic, it may not be as bad as it sounds.  Put a call in to the Vet right away.  Be sure she won't have acces to anymore.  Let us know how she is.
