HELP PLEASE!! 22 year old cat

I took my cat this afternoon for an enema, because he hadn't pooped in 4 days. He is 22 years old. The gave him .05 ml of a laxative before he left. I brought him home and he is unresponsive, laying there with his eyes open. HE pooped, but didn't really move. But he hasn't closed his eyes since we have been home. We got home at 5pm and it's now midnight. If this normal? They didn't put him under, he was awake. Just wondering if him being lethargic, and not sleeping just gazing look is normal.

twosocks, you need to take him back to the vet, something is wrong if he hasn't closed his eyes or moved since you brought him home.

Hi,
Can you call the Animal ER if your Vet is not open and talk to someone there about your kitty not moving and his symptoms.  No this is not normal.  Please let us know.  You are lucky to have had him this long.  Saying a prayer for you and kitty.  Please let us know.
