a new trick

well as if her playing dead trick wasn't bad enough venus learned something new.....she can now open the screen door to our patio. last night greg and i were watching the office when i realized i hadn't seen venus for a while. so we search the house to end up right back in the living room. that's when i noticed the screen door open a bit (it's a sliding door) i open and start to FREAK out! after about 10 minutes of hunting for devil cat she came slinking home. she snuck past me and into the house. ohhhh she's SO bad!

that cat i swear!!!! she has now decided to pee ON MY DOOR!!!! she backs her bum up against it gets up on her 2 front paws and pees on the d@mn door! vet said she is completely healthy so gah she's being so NAUGHTY!!!  she ran "away" to the neighbors house yesterday so today she is grounded. no treats and no patio time. so far she isn't speaking to me. lol. maybe she'll be good now. *sigh* kids....i'm telling ya.

oh yes she pushes the door wide open. she can't just crack it to sneak in....noooooo she pushes it all the way open. then sits there and stares at me as i do my thing. she's so weird! and when i flush she gets up ON the toilet seat. cats are just something else.

I've had plenty of kitties that can't stand ANY closed doors!  LOL  There is no way to break them of that.  It's in them to be nosy!  =D

Does she push the bathroom door open? It drives me nuts! Both of my cats will push the door open if you don't have it completely latched!

ohhh venus KNOWS she is NOT allowed on the tables or the counters so what does she do? runs downstairs in front of me in the morning and jumps on something. then meows at me like I did something wrong. what's worse is i can never go to the bathroom alone. whether it's to shower, bath or use the potty. can i be alone??? NO! she MUST be RIGHT THERE! she's so weird.

Oh I know! Mine does that too. She'll deliberately knock something over and just look at it like "Look what I did!" I swear, I can't even have a vase of flowers anymore because she'll knock that over! Anything with liquid in it, she'll knock over!

And she jumps up on the table and counters (which I hate!) and whines this little petulant whine when I pick her up and put her down, lol.
Now my OTHER cat is a real lady and never gets in trouble. They are about as opposite as you can get!

she knocks everything over. what's bad is when she's doing it she looks at me like "hey hey hey looooookkkk at what iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii'm doing!!!!" and when i yell at her she back talks! she's so naughty!

How funny, lol. It sounds like something Sakura would do, only Sakura is a bit clumsy sometimes so she'd probably make more racket than your kitty.

My cat tests my patience too! Does yours constantly knock over drinks like mine does? I can't keep drinks or vases of flowers or anything on the table without her knocking it over. She's such a little booger, lol.

the evil thing is SNEAKING OUT OF THE HOUSE!!! she's worse than a d@mn teenage girl i swear!!!! greg and i were in the kitchen popping popcorn and she opened the door and ran out!!!! sneaky little devil. took me 20 minutes to find her fuzzy but. but hubby being the clever guy he is...put the extra baby gate up in front of the screen so she can't open it. so what has she been doing? perching on top of it like a d@mned parrot. i swear this cat is going to send me to the nut house one of these days! lol.

aahhhh thank you, heather, for sharing these funny stories. We really need to have some fun here. Venus is so pretty. I know, she is evil....but a cute evil kitty :)

LOL.  Main Coons are very smart.  I'd start locking the screen door.
