LOL hi perty Kitty I just moved here less than 2 weeks ago LOl I actually have found one its called Hot Shot Natural flying insect killer, contains lemongrass oil ..got it from Lowes there are 2-3 there for differant bugs all pet friendly ,now I just have to see if they get rid of the bugs ....thanks all ....

Oh, I just remembered another neighbor hung fly paper all around his porch in front of his front door (he was a bit senile) and that worked well too, although very unattractive. He sure loved his dog though and didn't want any flys bothering it. The fly paper strips ALL around the porch was kinda funny, but a sweet thought on the owners part.
Margy, my neighbor hangs up a "fly trap" bag on one of his trees. I don't know if there's sugar water in it or what, but the flys go into the bag but can't come back out and it doesn't take long for that bag to be fully loaded with flys so it works well. This sort of thing might be made for other insects, too. I bet you're talking about these long legged enormous mosquito looking things? There's a zillion of them here.
I don't use any chemicals near my pets margy...for an alternative how about those electronic bug zappers?
