blood in felines stool & sneezes

My cat has blood & mucus coming from his stool - more blood than stool. As well as he has blood in his mucus when he sneezes. He is lethargic, moody, becoming aggressive, his fur has gone from silky to ruff, he isn't eating even 1/2 as much as he once did & he sleeps up to 18hrs without moving.
What can possibly b wrong & is it a death sentence?

Yes I am in Canada too and haven't found any similar offers here...I agree.these costs are just becoming outrageous for most of us to afford..
Can I ask how old is your kitty and what do you have him on for a diet? this sounds like symptoms of CRF if he is a senior cat...
Many of our Canadian Vets will do a payment plan, have you talked to other clinics? alot can be diagnosed by blood work alone and not always necessary to take as far as an endoscopy.
best of luck to you and kitty, please keep us posted.....(((hugs)))

Thank u so much for ur information. The only issue is I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. From what I understand they do not offer those options.
I would hate to have to put him down. The total cost of finding out what is wrong is as follows - blood work $550 check-up $130 Endoscopy $1000 Feces test $300...This is outrageous. I wanted to get insurance but he now has pre-existing illness.

I am sorry I haven't been home and I am trying to catch up on all the recent posts...yes I am afraid without good Vet care your kitty doesn't sound like it will survive, there is something terribly wrong here and it sure doesn't need to cost $1000 for a diagnosis. I will send you a link, some areas in the US have help for animals that need care and the owners aren't able to pay....there are also many clinics that will set up a payment plan for you..so please don't allow your kitty to suffer when it obviously needs help.....
