cat has abscess
my cat has an abscess from a cat bite. he weighs 20.5lbs what is dose of pen oral tabs 500mg
vet should be seen as the infection could be made worse if not given the correct antibiotics.

If your cat has an abscess from a cat bite, he needs to be seen by a vet,
in my opinion, as soon as possible. Your vet would be the best person
to decide what dosage of penicillin, I'm assuming that's what the pen
stands for. That abscess should be looked at by your vet. He or she
should determine what should be done. Good luck with your kitty.
If anything like this would have happened to our kitty, I would be going
