cat sick after being spayed

Hi, my cat was spayed less than a week ago and since then she has been vomiting every day. Her diet has not changed and her wound is healing well and does not look infected. I am concerned as she was never sick before and was wondering if this has happened to anyone else's cat after being spayed?

most likely. three days is still very soon, especially with females. Its a much more invasive procedure. Just keep an eye on her and be sure the wound stays clean and is helaing properly.

If she starts to show any serious change in diet or behavior, take her back immediately.

My cat just got spayed 3 days ago. She is still not acting like herself she is not meowing and talking to us like she used to. Will she go back to herself or is this how she is going to be now?

Have you told your vet about this?  If not, that's the first thing you need to do.  A week is a long time for a cat to be vomiting, especially every day.  Every time they vomit they lose moisture from their body, and it's entirely possible for them to dehydrate.  If they get too badly dehydrated it will throw off their electrolytes which can cause serious side effects and can even disrupt their heart rhythm.  Please let your vet know about this ASAP.  It might be nothing, it might be a reaction to the anesthesia, it might be something far more serious, but your vet is the only one who can tell for sure.
