k i got a cat question

I know this is for people an all but i have no one else to ask...
My hubby recently saved an abondoned kitten that i am bottle feeding well the things a bit lonely so he brought home an older kitten whos eating kitten chow, he was playing with the older one last night an it started scratching him with its hind legs an he threw it... :( my hubbys never had cats ive tried explaining to him cats cant be trained like dogs. Anyway he reacted an threw it an its hurt. It will not walk on its back leg for anything i feel terrible, im sure hubby feels bad now. The thing is we're to poor to afford food or pay bills right now i definitely cant take it to the vet. ( my dog just recently ripped his back leg open and i couldnt aford the vet then either but his cut has healed) What im curious about will it die if i cant have its foot taken care of? Will it heal on its own? Any cat lovers know i feel bad for the poor thing but i just dont have the money, were in debt as it is and i got 3 babies to feed. :(

Hello there,

I just read your comments today.  I agree with Chima7.  You say you don't have enough money to take your animals to a vet. You say you are too poor to afford food . If you are too poor to afford food or take your animals to a vet, you really should not have them. I would take your dog and the two kittens to the nearest animal shelter and surrender them to the animal shelter.  It is never okay to be violent towards animals. I believe you said that your husband threw the older kitten and the kitten is hurt. I know you posted these comments in June.  How is the older kitten doing ? Do you still have the older kitten ?  I realize that was 2 months ago. I hope your situation improves, but it sounds like you have your hands full with three babies and a husband. I would not get any more pets. It sounds like your husband has anger issues. It is never okay to take out your frustrations or anger on a helpless animal.

Yes I'm sure the poor thing is injured and depending on if something is broken or internally bleeding, it could be very serious if it doesn't heal right or if an infection develops because it could be fatal. You don't know whether your dog is ok either because he could have developed an infection and could be dying. Only a vet could tell you for sure.

Your husband is a monster for throwing the poor kitten like that and if it were me I'd kick him out for being so abusive toward a poor defenseless kitten. Neither one of you should own any pets since you can't afford to feed them or take them to the vet. Owning a pet is a major responsibility because the animals are dependent on you to provide a loving and stable home. Since you can't do that for any of your animals, you should take them all to the nearest animal shelter to have them find a better home for them where they will be loved and taken care of. It's not fair to those animals to live in a house with abuse and neglect. It's against the law in many places also. Until and unless you get your financial problems cleared up and your husband takes an anger management class, you should not own any more pets.
