Many kittens bite when playing. And some adult cats will bite when playing too. We have a big Maine Coon cat who has always done this, but as he's gotten older, he now realizes that it hurts us, so he bites more gently. He only does it when he's playing and gets excited. If we stop interacting with him and just talk to him calmly, he's fine again.
Living with the kitten for a month with no neurological symptoms in the kitten and I would say there is no risk. It is exceptionally rare very young mammals to have rabies as they often die quickly if they do get it. Plus because they just haven't been alive and around for very long the chances of being exposed is so unlikely.
I would however be concerned about infection. Hopefully you cleaned the wound really good with soap and are keeping it clean. Cat bites can go pretty deep (even kitten teeth) and if bacteria is deep in that wound an infection can happen. Think of it as their teeth are like little swords...go deeper than the width. If the wound gets red, hot, or any discharge...you need to get antibiotics.
Where was the kitten before she lived with you?
I really don't think theres any chance anyone would get rabies from a domestic animal....unless this kitten was also bitten by a wild animal such as a skunk or bat and is showing signs of illness/madness.
If the kitten has lived with you for a month he would by now be a very ill animal and you would have noticed.
If in doubt always consult a doctor. but IMO theres no need to worry about rabies.
There is always a chance of infection from a cat bite, did you wash the area good after? is there redness and swelling?
