missed 5 clavamox doses

i spilled 5 doses of clavamox, my cat had already taken the med for 7 days.  do I need to start all over on the med

Thanks very much for your comment!  Our vet has always given us liquid so I didn't know Clavamox came in pill form!

Ask for pills.  They're easier.  Ask your vet to show you how to give a cat pills.  If they don't pm me.  I'll tell you.  Not hard at all.

Yes Jade is so right!! do contact your Vet for more tablets.
Clavamox is an antibiotic and as with us humans if the full Rx isn't taken the infection is only partially killed and can return with a vengeance, and be very resistant.

Hi, welcome to the forum.  If I were you, I'd call the vet and see if they can mix you up a half dose of the Clavamox (5days worth instead of 10) so you can finish the entire 10 days.
