my boy cat got bit on his head his head is swollen. he doesn't know better he been scratching and cleaning the swolling side he scratch so hard he made a cute in front above his eye and also hairloss because of the scratching. we been cleaning with peroxide, and putting ointment such as neosporin an bactine and giving him sugar and water. know puss is coming out it like brown liquid.
Neosporin is not for animal use. Go to tractor supply or someplace that sells ointment for animals. It is infected and probably needs to be seen by a vet.
Have you taken the cat to the vet? That's the first thing you need to do. If kitty is not eating and is only drinking sugar water, this is not a good thing. He has to get to a vet--now.
