my older cat

hi again,
now i will address the problem with my older cat xena is 8 yrs old and she doesnt like having any  other cats in the house...we have 2 dogs and she doesnt mind them but she really doesnt want lady here or max ....now some times she will go to max when his back is turned and sniff his behind or clean it.......i dont get this behaviour because if he turns around she will hiss and hit at him.....can any one help with this ?...thanks so much ......deb

thanks for answering...yeah she is the oldest and when she was younger she had her sister with us to for a while and when her sister and she had kittens at same time mind you..lol she took care of all of them....thats why im not understanding why she has turned into a wench towards other cats....thank you....deb

It sounds to me like she is just trying to show that she is boss, I had 2 females and 1 one at a time (currently only have two one female passed) :( My one female cat seemed to want the other two to know she was boss, and acted this way. Eventually she stopped and just ignored the other two. There isn't a whole lot you can do about it. I wish you the best!
