Aaawww, you're a Godsend to that little kitty. I'm glad he found such a kind person. ^..^
thanks, i'll try some drops and supplement. we may try another vet visit too, costs but owell
The poor kitty probably had an Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) before he found you. Since their nasal passages are very delicate the infection can make them sneeze for years. Plus, his nose is irritated from sneezing, hence the blood.
I have an 81 member feral colony & have run into this problem many times. Saline drops will help with the dryness he's experiencing, use twice daily. Also, I use Shark Cartilage, Cat's Claw (Uña de Gato), & Blue Algae. You can find these at any vitamin store. You have to open up the capsules & sprinkle into wet food. I use: 1/4 Shark C., 1/2 Cat's C., & 1/4 Blue A. (capsules). This won't cure the sneezing, that may take years or he'll always have it, but it will boost his immune system.
There is another possibility... he might have an obstruction in his nose. This requires anesthesia. Please keep me posted & thank you for having the heart & compassion to care for this little one. Rescuing cats is my purpose in life & is extremely rewarding!
