walking in circles

I posted on here about a week ago about Lobo, my kitten with a fractured skull.  He continues to heal well, but he walks or runs in circles most of the time he is on the floor. I know this normal after head injuries but I don't want him to get"stuck" like this.  Also, he us getting frustrated with his condition and wants to run but his vision, his eyes are still dilated, can't keep up with his fast pace. I know he can see, but not sure how well. I don't want him running into things and I would like to help him get beyond these circles.  Does anyone have any suggestions to help develop his vision and help him to stop the circles.

Yes.  Thank you for asking. He is making daily improvements.  His pupils have began to return to a more normal size.  Not normal yet but moving in that direction.  He tracks our fingers with his eyes.  He will also bat at them briefly or jump at them if we move them along the floor.  There are still processing issues.  I am looking for supplements that help promote brain recovery.  Any Suggestions?

idk if you or someone you know is good at building things but if you or someone you know is maybe building him a maze would help.  it doesnt have to be huge but something that makes him have to think about what hes doing more.  put a treat or a toy at the end and let him have fun.  i kinda want one for my cat now lol.  anyone wanna build me a maze for my cat (hehe)

Thank you.  I may try that.  I have also found that limiting the amount of open space and increasing the number of obstacles forces him to concentrate, walk straight at times, and turn to the right instead if always to the left.  He tires quickly, but this seems to be breaking the circle cycle.  I may try the leash too.  Good idea.

Lobo is young enough that you might want to try and train him to wear a walking harness/leash.

All of our kitties have been (except Miss Teia), but none of the current crew likes to go walkies like Queen Victoria and Calamity Jane (the Grey sisters) did.

Well cats unlike humans can adapt to being blind.  I wouldn't worry too much about his being able to see.  The walking in circles is more concerning.
