new surgery date

my surgey has been changed to the 17th of june. so i will updated you as soon as i am able. thanks for all your thought and prayers . good luck and prayers for everyone else getting ready to have surgery as well.

Sorry to hear your date was changed!!!  I have much sympathy for that situation after having my own surgery date moved twice!!  Counting down those last ten days was difficult!!  I will hope you have a fast recovery!  I am 12 days now out of surgery and doing great!!!  So much better than I had expected to be at this point.  Still not a great deal of head movement but I am able to do so much more now.  You really appreciate being able to dress yourself again :)  I get very sleepy and end up taking afternoon naps (something I NEVER do) unless of course I take the pain meds and then they keep me awake.  I am not taking much for meds now either, down to muscle relaxer at bedtime and maybe one dose of pain meds during the day if I have been up too much trying to do a few things.  I did not expect to feel so good so quickly!  I hope the same happens for you.  Now I am looking forward to getting the stitches out so that maybe some of the crazy itching stops!
