Anything to help with the headache???

I am on day 5 of a chiari headache....is there anything to help???  The pressure is too much to keep having day in and out...

If you are having neck pain too?  Ice pack on the back of my neck helps alot.  I guess relieves inflammation back there.  I had an allergic reaction a few weeks ago and the prednisone I was on for that REALLY helped but prednisone really causes unacceptable symptoms too.

Warm water does sound good...

Is this due to pressure changes, just part of the 'game'??  Still trying to get a handle on symptoms....the head pressure and neck pain are new to me.

I've had a headache all day. Just got home from work and right now your idea of a soak in the tub sounds WONDERFUL, Selma! AND, hubby's home to help me out of the tub for when the dizziness sets in! Such a vicious cycle!!

No pills ever seem to touch a CM HA.....but like Stephiec said.....rest....a soak in the tub helps too....a warm heating pad.....soft lights.....low soothing music.....

we do have a thread for relaxation techniques.....everyone has posted what works for them.......

The only thing that helps me is resting...easier said than done, right??
