May I ask, is ur dr aware of these attacks?
and what has he/she suggested?
The problem with drop attacks is u never know when they will occur...there is no advance warning as in passing out, u feeling it coming on...this u do not...so it is hard to do nething to try to prevent it...except..not drive...etc...
I am almost 2 yrs post op and still not driving...it can also make one skiddish to try....I am waiting to see if the NL will allow me to try driving short trips during the day only....but I know my depth perception is also way off, so I am just not sure if I trust myself to drive now....
As for what to do to keep safe..stay off steps when u r alone....do not light candles etc..things that u would not allow a small child to do alone...only bcuz u have no idea when this could happen.
I know u r not out long, but I know I was disoriented when I did come out of it and I did not feel well afterward...nauseated....and just could not figure out what had happened.
Keep track of each attack and make sure ur dr is aware of them.
