Oh and i will be doing another mri to confirm tethered cord syndrome. he believes it is there from the mri's i already have but wants another mri to just make sure.. Finally Answers!!

May I ask who ur NS is?....
Read some of the journals of the members that have had surgery...it may help u relax....to be scare, and nervous is normal.....I know I was.

Thank you so much.. i am so happy to be having the surgery and getting someone on the first try that knew more then i did when i walked in. i guess 25 years of brain and spinal surgery was good for him to learn.. he said doing chiari patients are his favorite cases because he knows he is giving them relief from what seems to be years of pain and suffering for most...

me too.. hoping they either rule out or jsut diagnose the tethered cord too. he said from his mri it looks bad for me though and its going to be a serious case as with my Chiari i have almost total blockage and its pooling around the C1 and that is making the pressure worse.. so wondering does that make it a syrnix?
