New symptom started about a week ago...)not sure if its chiari related or not.)

About a week ago my right wrist started hurting, which I am used to. I have broken it a few times and it acts ujp alot. But, then my left wrist started to act up to. It hurts jsut typing this and the pain shoots to my fingers. It really is an excruciating pain. IT feels like I have two broken wrists. My question is has anyone else experienced this, and if you have,do you know what caused it. This is just really painful and affecting my work. Its bow season for mardi gras and valentines day, and it hurts to work.

Rahe, I have the knuckle pain and stiffness. I was told about 12 years ago that I have carpal tunnel in my right arm, but I get the problem in both hands. My hands seem to look swollen at the joints when they hurt too.  I watched my M-I-L suffer from Rh. Arthritis(sp?) and I am always worried that maybe thats what it is....but honestly dont know. Just know how painful and frustrating it can be sometimes. Sorry I couldnt help.

No worries...I had the same problem after a drop attack, they thought it might be a hair line fracture.....or lupus.....they found I had EDS.....and Chiari....

Hi...could be a joint issue like ehlers-danlos, or RA...these are issues many with chiari deal with.

it can also be Chiari related in that  it feels almost like carpel tunnel, the nerves are affected , pinched in some cases, so these pains r not unrealistic.

I actually had a Dr dx me with tarsal tunnel and carpal tunnel...but once I had the EMG I was told I did not that it was chiari related.

Do talk to ur Dr about this and get the testing to know just what it is.
