So happy to hear you are heading home.  Such a nicer more quietier place to rest.  Please listen to those of us who have went through surgery, REST, REST, REST.  Please don't lift, bend. I know this might sound like you can't do anything, but please listen.  It will help you heal in the long run.  Sit  back and enjoy the little things around you right now and it is O.K. to ask for help when needed.  Your in my prayers as you heal.

I am being released from the hospital today! I've had a horrible run through this hospital and now that I am leaving I'm finally in good hands! The icu nurses ignored the drs orders and made me lay flat when told to make sure I was on a 45 degree angle. I finally got an pain management plan and i am able to walk including up stairs.  I will post more soon. My phone is going to die.

Even a fake smile can make you feel better. Take it very easy after surgery even if you feel great. I learnt the hard way.  In hind sight I should of laid down for at least two weeks, I'm no Doctor.  My Surgery was May 4th.  I'm 39.  If i can help in any way with questions i will, though we r all different. Kick butt though surgery.
